The Process

Gathering SeedsOnce the ginseng garden reaches 4 years old the ginseng will start to develop berries. In late summer the seeds will be picked by a picking crew and sent to get the pulp removed |
De-pulping the SeedsThe red pulp from the berries is removed and the seeds will be washed clean and rinsed thoroughly preparing them for storage. |
Climate Controlled StorageAll Seeds are then stored in a climate controlled environment for 10 months. This process is also known as the stratification process and helps increase the germination percentage. |
